Patient, methodical and chasing the perfect finish — detailing alongside Billy for nearly two years.
Experience
I've been working alongside Billy for just under two years, developing my skills and gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of vehicles. I've really enjoyed learning new techniques and pushing myself to improve within the detailing industry.
Where my passion comes from
My passion for cars started at a young age. My dad was a huge fan of the World Rally Championship, which introduced me to the world of rallying early on. As I got older, my brother and close friends helped me learn how to truly appreciate cars — not just for performance, but for how they look and how important it is to keep them clean and well maintained.
Skills
Over time I've built up a strong set of skills, including paint correction, ceramic coatings, wheel refurbishment, scratch repair and full vehicle detailing. I take pride in being patient and methodical, always aiming for the best possible finish. My dream car — and favourite car to detail — would have to be the Ferrari F40. If you're reading this and have one, PLEASE send it my way!
Favourite jobs & products
I always go back to a good rapid detailer — I love the gloss it brings out and that extra layer of protection. One of my favourite jobs is engine bay detailing, especially on performance cars; there's something really satisfying about opening the bonnet and seeing everything looking fresh and spotless. I also love enhancing paintwork and the finer details, like alcohol wipe-downs and steam cleaning, to make sure every surface is perfectly finished.
Biggest challenge
I'm a big fan of McLaren — I just think they look unreal. One of the biggest challenges I've completed was a full paint correction on a BMW M2, chasing a really high level of correction while working in direct sunlight. It pushed my skills and patience to the limit.
Off the clock
Outside of work I'm into day trading and play football on weekends. While detailing I usually have house music on, or something from SD Kid, to keep me focused. My coworkers would describe me as patient, detail-oriented and talkative — I like to take my time and do everything to my standard.
I've got a Jack Russell called Buster, and something people don't expect is that I once spent two months travelling the world. Given the choice I'd pick a manual every time — ideally a Mazda RX-7 Veilside Fortune from The Fast and the Furious — and for the perfect road trip I'd head straight through Switzerland and Italy.
